About Black & Mild Cigars
Black & Mild Cigars are brought to you by John Middleton Co., a tobacco company founded in Philadelphia in 1856 and owned by Altria since 2007. Introduced in 1980, Black & Mild is known for machine-made cigars produced in either Richmond, Virginia, or King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, using a preferred, distinctive-tasting pipe tobacco that’s instantly recognizable once lit. John Middleton also produces Middleton’s Cherry Blend cigars and pipe tobacco brands, including Prince Albert and Carter Hall. We carry them all. Over the years, Black & Mild has expanded beyond its tipped cigars, introducing untipped filtered Original and Sweets cigarillos nationwide.
Black & Mild Cigar Flavors and Tips
Black & Mild flavors and blends include Original, Apple, Casino, Cream, Jazz, Royale, Select, Sweets, and Wine. These cigars come with different tips, including plastic tips, wood tips, and filters, depending on the product or flavor. Wood Tip options include Original, Casino, Jazz, Sweets, and Wine, while Filter Tip cigars come in Original and Sweets. John Middleton uses a select blend of mostly Black Cavendish, Golden Virginia, and Kentucky Burley tobacco. Black & Mild doesn’t often release new flavors, but it generally keeps at least 10 flavors in its regular lineup, which you can always find here at Bluegrass Tobacco.
